Stars and Stripes Birthday

I don't know anyone with a July 4th birthday so I thought I'd take advantage and just make a boy bithday card with the stars and stripes. This cute little guy is called Patriotic Turtle from Doodle Pantry. This is a really neat set. You will love all the options! The layout for this card came from Card Patterns. At Birthday Sundaes they wanted to see the stars and stripes with a birthday sentiment. Stamptacular Sunday challenge and Cards for Men also wanted to see stars and stipes this week.
At Crafty Pad they want to see bright and bold that is never a problem for me. At Send A Smile 4 Kids they are having a teddy bear or any other animal challenge. Finally over at the For Fun Challenge they wanted to see 2 ribbons, 2 colors, 1 image and 1 sentiment. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

Sarah you have done an incredible job of colouring the turtle, he looks dimensional, shiny and shaded - wow. Love your ribbon and layout. Lots of 'wow' factors in this card!!

He's got a blue shell, awesome! I have such a hard time highlighting with the gel pen and yours looks so fantastic! Even the shading on the grass is awesome. You rock Sarah!

Cute card...the deep green is an often forgotten summery color. Love that you've got a turtle featured. I'm "mommy" to two rescued ones. :) Yep, you can adopt reptiles at the pound!

Thanks so so much for joining us at For Fun Challenges!
